Understanding how our targeting split testing works will help you make better choices when creating your campaign and maximize the creation tools full potential and unleash your ads results.
Lets see an example to better understand. You have the following you want to split test:
2 interests
1 location
1 age group
3 placements
So first lets see how many adsets will be created:
2 interests x 1 location x 1 age group x 3 placements = 6 total adsets will be created.
Next lets see how each adset will look like:
Adset#1 will contain:
Interest #1
Location #1
Age group #1
Placement #1
Adset#2 will contain:
Interest #1
Location #1
Age group #1
Placement #2
Adset#3 will contain:
Interest #1
Location #1
Age group #1
Placement #3
Adset#4 will contain:
Interest #2
Location #1
Age group #1
Placement #1
Adset#5 will contain:
Interest #2
Location #1
Age group #1
Placement #2
Adset#6 will contain:
Interest #2
Location #1
Age group #1
Placement #3
So as you can see it creates a variation of everything you split test so you can see laser precise results.
Please note that the number of adsets can quickly multiply and you need to keep in mind that your budget will be multiplied by each adset.
So a $5 per adset across 10 adsets will need to spend $50/day.
